Ahava Therapy Services - ⭐ PRN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (OTA)Location: Jackson, TNFacilities: Maplewood Healthcare & Laurelwood Healthcare➡️ Join Our TeamAhava Therapy Services provides Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy across a variety of care settings.We are committed to delivering innovative, evidence-based care through teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.Our mission is to maximize each patient’s potential while improving their quality of life — leading the revolution in therapy services with compassion, respect, and clinical excellence.We hire therapists who share our vision, demonstrate strong clinical skills, and work diligently to restore function while preventing decline in the patients we serve.✅ About the FacilitiesMaplewood Healthcare and Laurelwood Healthcare in Jackson, TN offer:Short-term rehabilitationLong-term careOutpatient therapy servicesJoin a supportive in-house rehab team under excellent leadership, focused on exceptional patient outcomes and meaningful collaboration.⚙️ ResponsibilitiesProvide occupational therapy treatments to residents according to the occupational therapist's treatment plans.Assist the Occupational Therapist with tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures.Observe, record, and report conditions, reactions, and responses related to assigned duties.Maintain daily treatment records and document progress notes as directed.Assist the therapist in consulting with family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.Assist with the care of the occupational therapy department and equipment.Assist with in-service programs and other meetings as assigned.Access continuing education opportunities appropriate to discipline and responsibilities.Act in compliance with Ahava Therapy Services’ regulatory and professional standards.Attend and participate in rehabilitation team conferences and other facility meetings.Adhere to company and facility policies and participate in quality improvement and safety programs.Perform other duties as assigned.Understand reimbursement by various payers and allocate therapy resources efficiently.Demonstrate knowledge of OBRA regulations, HIPAA, Local Coverage Determination, and third-party reimbursement guidelines.Support the company’s mission and vision and project a professional image.Independently perform duties and recognize situations where direct supervision is needed.Maintain expected productivity levels.✔️ QualificationsGraduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) programActive Tennessee OTA license or eligibility under state statutesCurrent BLS/CPR certificationStrong observational, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team✅ Be part of something meaningful.Join Ahava Therapy Services — where compassion meets excellence, and therapists are empowered to make a difference every day.
