Must have a thorough understanding of LAN/WAN integration, TCP/IP, switching, and routing is essential.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Designing and implementing network solutions, topologies, and services to ensure efficiency, security, and reliability of current networks Working in a team environment to support effective customer serviceAnalyzing network topologies and making recommendations on network equipment and servicesConfiguring firewalls, load balancing, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting Managing request for work and work orders, implementation plans, diagrams, and packet capturesInvestigating faults in the network REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Sciences and 4 years related experience or successful completion of a certified technical/vocational school and 5 years related experienceExpertise in Windows networks, Cisco Systems, and network monitoring products and technologiesExperience is installing, configuring and managing F5 BigIP virtual network appliancesExperience with Juniper/Cisco/Palo Alto networks, firewalls, and WLANsExperience in routed, switched, and wireless LAN environments that operate Microsoft, UNIX, and OpenVMSExperience with supporting design and establishment of a lab environmentExperience with tunnelling, packet captures and network analysis toolsCOMPENSATION:Excellent compensation commensurate with experience in related field(s) and performanceMajor medical, dental and visionPaid holidaysPaid Time Off (PTO)401k and company matchingABOUT US:MissionTo provide innovative IT solutions and services that enable our customers to effectively make critical decisions, improve productivity, and achieve business and operational success.
