Operations Coach Job DescriptionAccountabilityReporting to the Director of Operations, an Operations Coach is responsible for brand managementand revenue growth through planning, direction setting, operational focus, financial resultsmanagement, coaching of in-restaurant leaders, and employee development for a group of multi-unitrestaurant leaders within a specified geographic area. Operations Coaches must have a strongcommitment to guest satisfaction when interacting with others.Key Business AreasA “Key Business Area” is an area of performance in which the Operations Coach must be successful tomeet their accountabilities. Successful results in Little Caesars's Key Business Areas are supported bythe following behaviors or actions:Represents Vibe Restaurants's Vision, Mission and Core ValuesOversees profit, sales, and guest count growth for assigned geographic area. Works with General managers (GMs) in assigned area to develop and execute growth plansManaging cost controls, including food and paper, labor, and operating supplies.Prepares and interprets financial and operational reports and schedules, analyzes data and develops solutions to ensure operating goals are achievedAnalyzes and identifies gaps in area operational performance and addresses them to maximize performance and achieve goalsLeads the annual area planning process by aligning area goals with the corporate strategic annual operating planConsistently and effectively communicates the company's objectives to all store management teams through organized and scheduled conference calls, meetings and/or electronic communicationsEncourages General Managers to promote Little Caesars through community involvement activities and coaches General Managers to develop and execute their local store marketing plan to drive sales and guest countHires, trains and develops General Managers and Restaurant Managers and proactively builds bench strength for future management needsFacilitates the successful roll-out of new programs for the assigned geographic areaDevelops and executes people plan for the assigned area which reflects high standards through bench and succession planning, consistent mentoring, feedback and people developmentWorks to create and maintain an enjoyable and respectful environment for our guests and employees throughout the assigned geographic areaActively works to resolve and prevent employee relations issues and partners with the Human Resources Manager on investigations and follow-up activities. Takes appropriate disciplinary measures as warrantedMonitors compliance with Little Caesars Brand (DBA Vibe Restaurants) Standards, policies and procedures, all health codes and other regulatory requirements and employment lawsChecks equipment and facilities for compliance to corporate standards and takes corrective action when requiredOversees that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests and company assetsBuilds relationships with support departments and franchisees and encourages managers to do the samePartners with Franchise Business Leaders and other Operations Coaches to build Brand Unity and share best practicesCompletes and submits all reports, documentation, and other administrative requirements in a timely mannerPerforms all other tasks and duties as assignedEssential FunctionsMust be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 lbsMust be able to bend, stoop, reach and liftMust be able to hear well in a loud environment to respond to employee and guest needsMust meet any state, county or municipal regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handlingMust be able to work around potentially hazardous chemicalsMust have sufficient mobility to move and operate in confined work areaMust be able to observe staff and all aspects of restaurant operationsMust be able to work inside and outside of the restaurantMust be able to operate the Little Caesars point-of-sale systemMust be able to drive, stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to travel frequently (up to 75%), including overnight stays and airline travel when applicableMust be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in kitchen and freezer areasPosition QualificationsFood Safety Managers Certificate requiredAbility to handle high stress situationsExcellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organizationAbility to communicate effectively in the English languageAbility to coach and motivate others to achieve area and corporate goalsStrong problem solving skills and the ability to partner with others to achieve results/resolutionExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influencePlaces a value on diversity and shows respect for othersExcellent financial and business acumenProven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with a strong attention to detailAbility to work weekends, holidays, days and eveningsLicensed to operate an automobile without hours of operations restrictionsPhysical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.VIBE RESTAURANT'S MISSIONBring every customer back by staying HOT-N-READYVIBE RESTAURANT'S VISIONIncrease sales through customer loyalty, operational excellence, team development, and communityinvolvement.VIBE RESTAURANT'S VALUEWe live the HOT-IN-READY- Promise.We Act Like Owners.We Love What We Do.We Win As A Team.This is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the employeesassigned to this position.
