Job TitlePricing & Sales AnalystLocationTMH - Columbus INJob DescriptionPosition Summary:The Pricing Analyst II will work as part of the pricing team to assist and administer promotional activity, review and recommend product discounts, and perform in-depth analysis of product pricing to support TMH’s product pricing strategy. High impact role that communicates and problem solves with several departments throughout the organization including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Strategic Planning, Finance, and the Dealer Network to directly contribute to the company’s overall sales and profit goals. This role also carries dealer sales support responsibilities to our world class dealer network and export distributors. Key responsibilities include management of the entire life cycle of the vehicle from order placement to customer delivery to ensure customer commitments and expectations are met. Daily communication with our OEM’s related to production levels, order changes and deliveries to ensure smooth sales operations and process improvements. The ideal candidate is customer driven and has the ability to quickly build and maintain relationships. This role requires intellectual curiosity, keen eye for process improvement as well as excellent communication and analytical skills. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Analyze product cost and list pricing tables within SAP to ensure pricing integrityExamine customer facing price booksFacilitate the product development/launch processResolve SAP and business process issues reported by operationsConduct periodic pricing system audits as necessaryInvestigate activities to improve design and efficiencies of pricing functionsPrepare recommendations of strategic pricing requestsAbility to understand, validate, and rationalize business needs within the environmentServes as liaison between the dealer and various internal departmentsManages entire life cycle of the vehicle order from order placement to customer deliveryCreates purchase orders, maintains records, prepares reports and performs work assignments and related administrative dutiesResolves customer requests, questions and issues timelyManages new forklift specification changesInvestigation and processing of credits/debitsVerifies OEM order acknowledgments for accuracy and resolves any conflictsAnalyzes Mis-built claim requests and submits to Quality Assurance teamEstablishes and maintains department data or databasesMaintains Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) that are set for teamAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and safe mannerAdditional duties as assigned EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree required, relevant business field preferred3 - 5 years related experience preferredHigh attention to detail and accuracy; ability to meet strict deadlines in fast-paced environmentExperience with SAP, Power BI and Microsoft Office applications with advanced MS Excel skills SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Strong business/statistics/economics/finance backgroundStrong written, verbal, and presentation skills --- ability to present and justify conclusions to a diverse set of audiencesHigh proficiency in MS Office (Excel in particular)Knowledge working with SAP PreferredKnowledge of the Material Handling industry preferredPrevious experience with incentives or pricing a plus Physical Requirements / Working ConditionsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
