At GDIT you’ll be at the forefront of innovation and play a meaningful part in improving how agencies operate.Our work depends on a Test Engineer to help support the Navy’s airborne Electronic Warfare Integrated Laboratories (EWIL) Division, Electronic Combat Simulation and Evaluation Laboratory (ECSEL) program to work onsite at Point Mugu, CA.Position is pending funding.As a Test Engineer for the ECSEL program, you will be responsible to help various airborne EW programs with their testing through set up of the test environment.HOW OUR TEST ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Design, build, modify, repair, maintain and test various EW lab test benches.Perform daily start-up of bench systems to check operational integrity and performance.Calibrate and test various systems, components, and applications as required.Support creation or maintenance of required process/procedure or other acquisition or certification documentation.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):Security Clearance Level: Active SecretRequired Experience: 3+ years of experience with electronics design, testing and troubleshooting.Education: BS Degree (or equivalent experience)Good organizational and management skillsLocation: Onsite at Point Mugu, CAPosition Availability: Position is pending funding.US Citizenship RequiredDesired Qualifications:Ability to solve complex problems in a dynamic environment.GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
