Jaja is a celebration of Western Mediterranean ("Med-West") cuisine, brought to life through the leadership of Executive Chef Logan Abbe. A Cleveland native and Cleveland Magazine’s2022 Best Local Chef, Abbe draws on his experience at The Last Page, Sawyer’s, and The Greenhouse Tavern to reintroduce jaja with a menu rooted in inventive, shareable dishes. Set within its jewel-box rooftop dining room, jaja offers an energetic, transportive, and welcoming experience paired with a reimagined beverage program — marking an exciting new chapter for one of Cleveland’s most distinctive restaurants.The Food runner/SA is a highly visible role and is key to the success of our venue's operations. This role serves as an ambassador to our guests and helps to ensure the ambiance of the event is maintained and guest expectations are met. and exceed. Thoughtfulness is our default.Essential Functions Champion Lateral ServiceLearnOwn the individual guest experienceSet the next shift up for successDeliver perfectly clean tables and floorsSupport service team by pre bussing, bussing, stocking, running F&B, and assisting in the cleanliness and organization of dining room, bathrooms, and service areasEducation / Experience / Certifications:Must be 16+ years of age.experience in a food service role a plusKnowledge of various food-service styles a plus.Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.Maintains composure under pressure, remains calm and courteous in difficult situations.Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as business demands; ability to work flexible hours as required.Work Environment:Work is performed in a restaurant/event environment. This role requires primarily standing and walking during entire shift.
