In the role of Civil Aviation BIM Specialist 3, we'll count on you to:  Functions in a drawing production engineering technician capacityUnder minimum supervision, performs basic functions requiring technical knowledge utilizing electronic applications, processes, standards and document control processes/procedures for the purpose of creating or modifying deliverablesEvaluates methods used to accomplish the drafting and/or design activities.Role will be responsible for drafting/designing HDR Aviation projects in Civil 3D and other Autodesk products.Develop or modify deliverables based on rough sketches, marked-up copies, and/or detailed verbal instructions.Develop deliverables with necessary views, sections, and details using Company and/or Client standards and procedures with supervision.Learn and understand project and Company standards and procedures.Performs minor computations such as material quantity estimate, dimensional checks, etc, as assigned.May learn new programs or processes required for assignments.Continuously evaluates methods used to accomplish the activities they have been assigned.Ensures that the deliverables are compliant with Company and/or Client Standards, sketches, marked copies and written or verbal instructions.Effectively communicating and corresponding with team members.Preferred QualificationsLearning on the FlyProblem SolvingTime ManagementResult DrivenSelf DevelopmentCustomer FocusStrong work ethic and attention to detailTechnical CompetenciesIntermediate knowledge of Computer Automated Drafting Design (CADD) or other applications or design or modeling skills.Basic knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, and departmental guides.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustExperience/knowledge in one or more of the following:Civil 3D and Autodesk Construction Cloud experienceExperience with drafting/design in multiple software programs (school, internship, and/or work)Basic ability to interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned.#LI-MV3Required Qualifications Technical degree or a combination of education and related industry experienceA minimum of 5 years related industry experienceAdvanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructureAdvanced skillset of 3D Coordination toolCompetency of Microsoft Office products and communication toolsAdvanced understanding of engineering or architectural conceptsKnowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specificationsExcellent communication skills, attention to detail and organizational traits are essentialWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
