Construction Manager Municipal Construction Management Team Job Location: Visalia Schedule: Monday Friday: 8 hours Position Overview and Key Responsibilities: 4Creeks is seeking a Construction Manager to work under the direction of a Department Manager or Construction Manager on our Municipal Construction Management team. Responsibilities for this position would include, but are not limited to, the following: Inspect construction activities for various types of projects (Public Works/Private/Utility)Coordinate with contractorsCoordinate with client(s)Submittal/RFI reviewsChange order reviewPrepare daily reports Coordinate with any sub-consultants (if necessary)Responsible for quantity tracking for progress payments Perform as a Construction Inspector as assigned Other responsibilities include client management, spreadsheet calculations, project tracking, financial management, site visits, and documentation of site conditions. This position will include both office and fieldwork. Field work will be at project sites and are typically within a 50-mile radius of Visalia but may occasionally require out-of-town travel or extended stays. Minimum Qualifications: Valid drivers license and ability to drive to job sites throughout California. Minimum of 1 year of experience.Preference to candidates with California E.I.T. certificate or P.E. licenseThe ideal candidate will have working knowledge in the preparation of plans, the ability to read construction plans and related documents, exceptional written and oral communication skills, and an understanding of construction processes. Bonus points for construction background and/or experience with construction inspections.Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel is required. Compensation The salary will be determined by the candidate's skill and experience level and will be highly competitive with industry standards. The benefits package includes full employee health coverage (50% coverage for dependents), company 401(k) contribution, participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), and performance bonuses. The expected pay range for this position is $80,000 to $115,000 annually.
