Outside Sales RepWe are looking for an experienced Building Materials Sales Rep or Manager responsible for selling a wide variety of our building products through the achievement of opportunity-based sales. The Outside Sales Rep will reach business targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer and contractor sites and locations. The Outside Sales Rep will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain professionalism, integrity, passion, and top shelf communication to both internal and external customers. Job Type: Full TimeResponsibilities for the Sales Rep: Ensure delivery of target sales by meeting with customers and maintaining relationshipsRecommend service and product enhancements to improve sales potentialAnalyze plans and trends to ensure best assignment of territories, clients, and service distributionMaintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in industry networks, and growing lasting client relationshipsEstablish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volumes and forecasting.Remain relevant with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand shifts, and product mix.Positively contribute to full sales and customer service teamsDocument customer interactions and maintain data related to activities, accounts, and vendor partnersDevelop and collaborate on long- and short-term sales strategies Requirements of the Sales Rep: Minimum 2+ years of outside sales or direct contractor sales experience in Building Materials (lumber, roofing, drywall, steel framing, windows preferred)Strong organizational skillsAbility to multitask and planWorld class customer service skillsMarket experience and knowledgeAbility to recognize the client needs and sell within the catalog of productsBudget developmentProcess and people managementExcellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
