Position: Ops Trainee – 4681 Location: GAC Savannah, GA Shift: 1st Shift (4:50 AM – 3:30 PM) Employment: 48 months Pay Rate: $19.29/hr. Position Purpose Entry-level role for individuals interested in learning aircraft manufacturing. Work in a team environment to perform basic structural assembly tasks under direct supervision. Essential Job Functions Perform basic fitting, drilling, and riveting tasks using common mechanical tools (e.g., drills, rivet guns, countersinks, files). Follow instructions from experienced technicians and Quality Control to meet work standards. Learn to read work orders, blueprints, and specifications. Help align and assemble parts using fixtures, clamps, pins, and fasteners. Observe and assist senior technicians to progressively work with less supervision.
