In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring that every part we produce meets the highest standards of quality, precision, and customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to maintain process control, reduce variation, and continuously improve the product lifecycle.If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have a passion for quality and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.Essential DutiesOversee quality assurance activities across steel fabrication, assembly and powder coat operationsConduct first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final product checksInterpret and apply GD&T principles on fabricated parts and engineering drawingsLead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) for non-conformancesDevelop and update quality documentation, including inspection plans, work instructions, and control plansMonitor key quality metrics and participate in continuous improvement projectsCollaborate with manufacturing engineers to improve processes and reduce scrap/reworkFinalize the systems and processes (QMS) to achieve and sustain ISO 9001:2015Monitor and support department activities for ISO 9001:2015Coordinate and support internal and external audits (e.g. ISO 9001:2015)Work closely with suppliers and customers to address quality concerns and drive resolutionGenerate specifications, validation plans, and acceptance criteria for new products, materials, and processesThe above is not an exhaustive list of duties, representing the typical expectations for the role.
