*PLEASE NOTE: The Senior Agile Project Manager will be required to be located in Charlotte, NC and come into our SouthEnd office Tuesday-Thursday.*RESPONSIBILITIES Coach teams and the organization on how to best use Agile principles/frameworks and effectively leverages appropriate best practicesLead Agile software projects from product conception through release.Serve as Scrum Master or Flow Manager for assigned Scrum and Kanban teams, facilitating events such as stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement/replenishment meetings, retrospectives/flow reviews and release planning.Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other partners to understand the expected product functionality and customer needs.Assist in removing team impediments, and track and maintain metrics for information radiators.Promote collaboration and transparency, and communicate accurate and timely information to partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous working experience with software release cycles in web based environments and have a firm understanding of Agile principles and frameworks.Skilled at organizing and communicating complex concepts - capable of breaking down complex situations, this applies to both technical issues and process issues.Strong experience managing software development projects on large-scale web applications.Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with an attention to detail.Ability to work with teams to gather unrefined business requirements from multiple sources and formulate and deliver a solution in a timely manner.Ability to work under the pressure of multiple projects and deadlines at once.4+ yrs. of Project Management exp. involving fast releases of software development.2+ yrs. of exp. in an Agile environment.Exp. leading large web based projects.Exp. with Agile management tools.A CSM and exp. in a start-up environment are both highly preferred.
