Job Title – Certified Nursing Assistant Department - Clinical Reports to – PACE Clinical Manager Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance (Short & Long Term Disability) 403(b) Plan Paid Holidays CME (Continuing Medical Education) About Position: The primary responsibility of the Certified Nursing Assistant is to assist patients and perform other tasks as assigned. Also, to support patient care in all aspects of Adult Day Center, including driving, as needed. Work Location: 163 Chatham Business Dr, Pittsboro, NC 27312 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Required Travel: None Qualifications – Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of Nurse’s Aide, Home Health Aid or equivalent training course. One year of experience with the frail or elderly preferred. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment Must be able to provide assistance and services to people of all ages, including geriatrics. Act only within the scope of his/her authority to practice Must meet a standardized set of competencies for the specific position description established by PHSC and approved by CMS before working independently. Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: Certified Nursing Assistant I or certified within 90 days of employment. Upon employment, must become trained in CPR and First Aid. Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.
