Office-based in Kansas City, MO headquartersResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement commodity strategies for indirect materials, packaging, and MRO in collaboration with operations and finance.
Lead RFQs, analytics, TCO comparisons, and project implementation to minimize costs and maximize service. Negotiate vendor contracts, manage supplier performance, and mitigate risks. Act as liaison between sourcing and management for specifications, quotes, costs, and delivery. Support SIOP processes, participate in strategic initiatives, and travel to sites/suppliers as needed.
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related (MBA preferred). No specific certifications required, but CPM or CPSM a plus.5+ years in sourcing/commodity management.
Experience
with indirect, packaging, MRO categories. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Results-driven with multi-stakeholder engagement.
