PCMG offers care in more than 75 pediatric specialties across 34 clinical divisions at more than 40 sites of service in the state of Arizona. Together, weâ€re expanding whatâ€s possible for pediatric care, education and innovation.  Position Overview  Reporting to the Chief Physician Executive, the next Physician-in-Chief will lead four clinical centers (17 Clinical Divisions) with a focus on delivering world class clinical care across the Southwest. This role will partner with Daniel Ostlie, MD, Surgeon-in-Chief, and Stewart Goldman, MD, Chair, Department of Child Health (University of Arizona) and Senior Vice President of Research, to drive the strategic vision and clinical care of Phoenix Childrenâ€s Medical Group. Reporting to this position are the Division Chiefs and Medical Directors of Genetics, Infectious Diseases, Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Allergy, Pulmonology, Palliative Medicine, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, General Pediatrics, Child Protection, Psychiatry, Psychology, Emergency Medicine, Pathology, and Radiology. Applicants must have an MD or MD/PhD degree and be board-certified in a pediatrics subspecialty and a robust history of accomplishments in mentorship, leadership and scholarship. The successful candidate must possess effective interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills. Given the extraordinary growth of our system, the candidate must also embrace and demonstrate a competence for leading change.
