CNC Programmer$2,500 Sign-on Bonus Weekly PayOverview:Greiner Industries is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer who is proficient in G&M code programming, AutoCAD, and Mastercam, with a strong background in setting up and optimizing CNC machines for efficient and accurate production. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, often under tight deadlines.Key Responsibilities:Commitment to a safe work environment, quality product, and teamwork.Program CNC lathes using G&M code and Mastercam for a wide range of complex parts and materialsRead and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical documentationSelection appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds based on materials and specifications.Set up and prove out programs on the shop floor, making adjustments as needed.Collaborate with machinists to refine and optimize machining processes.Maintain program files and documentation in an organized and accessible manner.Troubleshoot issues related to programming, tooling, and machining operations.Ensure all parts meet quality standards and tolerances3+ years of CNC programming experience in a machine shop environment.Proficiency in Mastercam and manual G&M code programmingStrong understanding of machining principles, tool selection, and material properties.Ability to work from 2D drawings and 3D models.Familiarity with GD&T and precision measurement tools.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Minimum EducationHigh School Minimum Years of Experience2-4 Specific QualificationsRequired Skills & Abilities:· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop orders, and written instructions.· Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality standards.· Proficiency in working with fractions and decimals.· Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.· Skilled in using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.Education & Experience:· High school diploma or equivalent.· Minimum of two years’ experience in a production environment.· Training in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Global Harmonization System (GHS), and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures. (Onsite training · Tow Motor and Overhead Crane Certification.
