We seek employees who are passionate about serving and making a differencein the lives of others.Make more than a Living, Make a DifferenceOur Benefits9 days of Vacation in the first year of serviceMinimum of 11 Paid HolidaysPaid Sick LeaveRetirement savings plan with employer match up to 5%Workers CompensationAD&D InsurancePublic Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible EmployerService Contract Act (SCA) PositionHourly Range: $17.20 to $17.30Schedule: 3pm-12am or 11:30pm-8:30amDuties and Responsibilities The Unarmed Guard is responsible for enforcing all laws, rules and policies authorized by the Safety and Security Department.Enforces all authorized laws, rules, and regulations.The Mobile Advisor performs alarm and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, vandalism, fire, flood, or similar disaster, suspicious acts and/or persons, and other unusual conditions.Provide vehicle transportation support function under direction of supervisor in compliance with government, corporate and management directives.Aids and assists visitors, students, and staff.Performs building security and safety checks.Qualifications Minimum of High School graduate or equivalent.Prefer 1 year of experience in a security department, law enforcement agency, or experience with security duties.Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.Prefer Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.Additional Requirements: Prefer knowledge of riot and crowd control techniques and law enforcement procedures. Must maintain CPR/FA Certification. Ability to obtain a bus driver's license. Ability to effectively relate to trainee population. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Position requires an ability to operate office equipment and drive an automobile.
