Terry Matlock School of Performing Arts is a year round program of Fine Arts and Academics, with 2 locations in Grand Blanc. We have an opening for a Lead Teacher Position for a Preschool Classroom, as well as an Assistant Teacher for this Classroom. This is a full time position, 8 hours a day Monday thru Friday. Applicant needs to be experienced and be able to work in a team situation. Duties include lesson planning, teaching, communicating with parents and maintaining the classroom. We are looking for someone who loves children and wants to inspire them. Our organization promotes strong, independent teachers in a very supportive atmosphere.

We are also looking for Teacher Assistants for this classroom. Assistants must have a passion for children and be able to work well on a team.

Requirements

The Lead Teacher must have a Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood or a CDA. The Lead Teacher must have classroom experience and be available to work full time. Lead Teacher is required to have lesson plans and art preparation ready a week in advance. She must also have leadership qualities and good communication skills for parents and her team.

Teacher Aide's must having a loving personality and enjoy children. Must be able to work as a team member.
