The Back of House Director is responsible forAlways delivering crave-able food, in a timely manner, that meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A Quality Requirements Coaching the behaviors of all Team Members who work in the Kitchen.Those behaviors include: Sense of Urgency that creates surprisingly fast Speed of ServiceAttention to detail that ensures preparation and production procedures are followedExecution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environmentMaintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food safetyVigilant attention to the organization and appearance of the kitchenAs a Back of House Director you will:Expert in all levels of BOH PositionsBe responsible for coaching Shift Leaders running breaks during their shiftBe responsible for ensuring new team members are trainedBe positioned in flex role during shift (support, secondary *non peak*)Observe and seek out learning opportunities through verbal coaching Meet with the Training Manager to receive updates and communicate progress with new hires (10% admin. time)Train with all Leaders on AHA and Food Safety systemsResponsible for AM/PM Leader TransitionsResponsible for ensuring all restocking and cleaning in the area happens before the end of shiftBehavior Characteristics:Effectively coach and give directionIntentionally and methodically grow and nurture relationships with the staffBe able to connect with a multicultural teamAlign hiring, training, daily practices and evaluation practices with the Vision of the organization.Enthusiastically and passionately lead the Kitchen teamAdditional Responsibilities:Maintaining a LEAN production environmentCoaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all kitchen Team MembersTroubleshooting and repairing equipment and facilitiesEnsure all necessary preventative maintenance and cleaning per set schedule.Chick-fil-A, Inc. is a family owned and privately held restaurant company founded in 1967 by S.
