Our companies have successfully constructed over 50,000 projects, with about $1.5 billion in annual revenue and more than 4,000 dedicated full-time employees.A Southland Holdings company is currently accepting resumes for highly motivated EXPERIENCED LOADER OPERATORS to join our team in Lake Worth, FL The Loader Operator’s primary function is to operate a Loader at the site of work to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building type structures; equipment operators are also expected to assist in other duties around the jobsite as neededDuties/Responsibilities:•Operates a Loader to complete tasks such as move and/or transport materials such as dirt, rocks, and other types of aggregate•Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials•May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; perform daily safety and maintenance checks; complete paperwork and other documentation as needed•May perform other related duties as requiredRequired Skills/Abilities:Ability to understand directions and read blueprints.Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade.Thorough understanding of construction principles and methods.Works well as part of a team.Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properlyMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required2+ years of loader operating experience, preferably with roadways or bridges.
