New York Health Care - Job description   New York Health Care, a licensed home care agency now in our 34th year of business is seeking an experienced full time Senior Biller for immediate hire. Job Duties to include : Monitor and ensure payments are being made in accordance with the terms of the contract. Verify that rates billed are in accordance with contractual terms. Collection and follow up on all outstanding contracts. Ensure that A/R payments are current and all delinquent accounts are being followed up on in a timely fashion. Correct any billing issues making any necessary adjustments, while communicating these changes to the contract and filing appeals when necessary. Correct system issues pertaining to billing, patients and or caregivers as directed by management. Requirements: Previous collections experience with proven results. Strong analytic skills with advanced problem solving ability. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Preferences :Compensation : Knowledge of EMEDNY, Inovalon and other electronic billing portals. Prior homecare or hospital experience.
