The job description is as follows ResponsibilitiesExecute engineering solutions to bring additional capacity to Frito-Lay’s portfolio of products. This can include the installation of new manufacturing lines and/or the modification of existing production equipment, including process, packaging, warehouse, facilities & utilities.Participate in and lead cross-functional teams of colleagues and outside resources, including plant personnel, equipment vendors, engineering and construction contractors.Define manufacturing and unit operation needs for project scope requirements and documentationAbility to independently lead small, medium and large projectsApply Engineering principles to problem solving and managing unexpected changes Manage costs by developing project budgets, maintaining cost tracking tools and actively controlling project costs to deliver project cost requirements. Create project funding documents.Demonstrate time management skills by developing project timelines, maintaining time management tools in multiple formats and actively controlling project schedules, ensuring project schedule attainment.Manage procurement including analyzing quotes, writing procurement documents and tracking project procurement information. This also includes developing and leveraging technical specifications and writing inspection acceptance test plans.Develop, manage and execute equipment installation and start-up plans while supervising outside contractors and vendors.Manage multiple project deliverables, accelerated timelines and competing prioritiesAdequately manage, communicate and mitigate project risks Expected travel: 30% to 40%Compensation & Benefits:The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,400 - $127,850.Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
