Job Summary:The Toolroom Supervisor will source new product tooling, provide tool specifications, follow-up and manage the building of new tools, follow-up and manage changes to new or existing tooling, and facilitate the preventative maintenance of existing tooling. TheToolroom Supervisor is required to manage overall maintenance costs and audit tool sources to maintain the lowest cost available.Principal Accountabilities:Serve on program teams to manage the building of new product toolingDevelop and maintain tool standardsAssist maintenance in tool preventative maintenanceManage changes to toolsInterface with manufacturing to resolve processing issues through potential tool changesResearch alternative tooling sources for better cost, quality, and deliveryMaintain tool drawings and tool identification recordsResponsible for approving tool design and materialsMay be required to perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisorManage and track complete timing of tool build compared to a master program timing scheduleManage all costs for initial builds and audit any change cost to assure lowest costsWork closely with the Process Specialist during tool tryouts to make sure the tool functions efficientlyIdentify critical spare components, establish inventory and replenish systemEducation/Experience:Bachelor's degree in a Technical / Engineering discipline required;OR Journeymen status with minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience;OR Minimum of 10 years of technical/manufacturing experience.Requirements:Ability to work any shift and overtime as requiredMust possess a working knowledge of advanced technical problem-solving tools.Excellent organization, written and oral communication skillsAbility to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the plant from hourly represented employees to senior leadership as requiredGoal oriented and a self-starter and ability to lead and manage in a team-based structureAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applicationsMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of timeMust be able to lift 25 pounds or more
