Assist residents in between meals with obtaining snacks and hydration throughout the day.Encourage resident participation in leisure activities provided for residents as described in activity calendar, social events, walking program or as needed to practice de-escalation techniques per resident's support planAssist in admissions, transfers, discharges, and death proceduresRespond promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance, including telephone calls, and requests from family and friends, visitors, or other personnelWhat do I need for this role with Frederick Living? High school diploma or GED requiredMust be willing to obtain medication administration certification upon hire as well as complete a minimum of 6 hours of dementia education annually.Preferred experience in caring for the elderly with cognitive impairments.
