What You'll Do: Lead preparation of grading and public improvement plans from concept through final documentation Develop and process technical studies, site plans, and entitlement packages for land development projects Prepare Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for public infrastructure (streets, sewers, storm drains) Conduct site assessments and engineering design studies, incorporating infrastructure requirements and regulatory considerations Manage regulatory plan preparation and processing through Los Angeles and Ventura County Public Works Perform constructability reviews and provide construction support services Supervise engineers, designers, and project support staff, ensuring quality and efficiency What Were Looking For: BSCE degree required California Professional Civil Engineer registration preferred (not required) Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in land development/public works, or 8 years equivalent industry experience At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading engineers/designers/project staff Strong knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures (Los Angeles area preferred) Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare exhibits, studies, and final plans Strong time management, collaboration, and ability to respond constructively to feedback This is an exciting opportunity for a civil design leader who thrives on technical excellence, mentorship, and shaping projects that leave a lasting impact on communities.
