Senior Professional Business Analyst/ New Orleans*No C-2-C* Must have Interim or Active Security Clearance AND CompTIA Security +Parks Professional Placements is currently searching for multiple Senior Professional Business Analysts that have Functional Analyst/Subject Matter Expertise to be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges.Responsibilities:Serves as Functional Analyst/Subject Matter Expert (SME).The desired candidate analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing requirements, such as the Navy’s Human resources systemCoordinates with customer, business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Serves as Functional Analyst defining business intelligence requirements for Analytical application and reporting. Must possess experience in documenting functional, business intelligence analytics, and reporting requirements. Identifies and develops high level requirements based on knowledge of the Navy’s personnel and pay systems, and analytical reporting, basic government accounting and financial knowledge. Responsible for decomposing high level functional requirements and writing system and technical requirements for development and testing.As a member of a Task Order Team, must be able to work well with co-workers, developers, testers, and customers.Analyzes, evaluates, modifies, configures, tests and implements enterprise wide purchased systems (e.g. SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.).Prepares application system specifications.Plans, implements and coordinates system upgrades, enhancements or maintenanceSecurity:US Citizenship requiredSecret Security Clearance required Required Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree; 4 years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree10+ years work experience4+ years of strong PeopleSoft HCM experienceUS Naval Reserve field experience and knowledge of reserve management database systems.Knowledge of US Naval reserve administrative and HR Policies.Knowledge of US Navy Naval Enlisted Systems (NES) and/or Officer Personnel Information Systems (OPINS)Experience with NSIPS. Desired Experience:US Naval Reserve field experience and knowledge of reserve management database systems.Knowledge of US Naval Enlisted Systems (NES)Knowledge of US Naval Officer Personnel Information Systems (OPINS)Experience with NSIPS.
