What will your job look like?We are looking for a Fleet Maintenance Technician Class Bto help maintain a fleet of vehicles in our Tucson, AZ location. This position consists of service, diagnosing, repair, and general maintenance of MTM Transit service vehicles.Our Fleet Maintenance staff are more than Mechanics. Their dedication ensures our vehicles are always ready to keep communities connected and passengers on the move.Location: 829 West Silverlake Road, Tucson, AZ 85713What you'll do: Responsible for maintenance, service, diagnosing, & repair of MTM Transit service vehiclesResponsible for general maintenance and repairs of MTM Transit facilities and groundsAreas of repair to include but not limited to:automotive vehicle, light duty truck , powertrains, undercarriage/ chassis, electronic and electrical equipment, air conditioning and heating systems,and vehicle accessories and equipment drivability and diagnosisAssist in maintaining shop and facility to include servicing vehicle lifts, pumps, and like equipmentEnsure accuracy when completing electronic work ordersPerform additional duties as assigned or requiredWhat you'll need:High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalentMust be 21 years or olderMust have and maintain a valid Arizona CDL with passenger endorsementNo reckless driving offenses within the past 5 yearsNo convictions involving moral turpitude within the past 5 yearsNo DUI or DWI convictionsPossess valid authorization to work in the United StatesMust be able to pass a DOT Physical and pre-employment drug screeningMust pass criminal background check and investigation & Motor Vehicle Record checkMust possess the AC609 Certification or ability to obtainExperience using hand and power tools, machinery, sophisticated test and diagnostic equipment related to automotive repairMust possess proper hand tools or willing to obtain.
