What you'll do A day in the life of our Revenue Auditor … it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Revenue Auditors accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know. • Balance interface (Micros, Spasoft and Opera) totals and verify Opera postings are correct, make necessary adjustments• Audit checks from Micros and review any voided checks• Ensure all open checks including Micros and Spasoft are closed on a daily basis• Complete process to post the income journal• Generate daily revenue report, obtain approval and share with appropriate email distribution• Transmit all credit cards settlements and balance daily• Balance and audit all gift card redemptions and sales• Input banquet check totals to assist with gratuity payments• Daily and Weekly involvement with OnTrack data (labor management system)• Reclass and account for miscellaneous revenues• Review and research any adjustments for audit purposes • Code and audit internal complimentary charges and miscellaneous adjustments made by operations• Process Banquet Third Party Charges and coding in Docuware• Gather and organize all receipts• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Revenue Auditor is relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct. • Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Revenue Auditor must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, our Revenue Auditor is provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel. Position requires to be able to sit down at and operate a computer, stand, walk to different locations of the hotel, will be required to lift at least 10 pounds, will occasionally lift up 20- 50 pounds at one time. Should have good vision and/or corrected vision. Revenue Auditor will have a cubical, desk, computer, phone. Reasonable accommodations will be provided to help perform demands of the job. You can comfortably communicate in this language.• Must have experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
