Serve in a lead supporting role providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, training and assisting in managing the daily work load/schedules of Safety Officer I's and II's.Provide leadership support to Safety Officers. Support Regional Director in program deployment and support needs.Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Environment of Care Program, including safety and security management, fire safety, hazardous materials and waste management, medical equipment, and utilities management and Emergency Management.Oversight of Environment of Care in efforts to maintain high standards of safety, regulatory compliance, maintaining documentation of findings and improvements.Identify risks based on regulatory interpretation and other methods, and apply to policy creation.Develop and implement education programs and materials to train staff to detect, mitigate, and avoid workplace hazards.Provide policy and procedure interpretation and education as it applies to the EC and Emergency Management Plans.Requirements Education:High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
