Director of Nursing – Long-Term Care / Home Health | Full-Time | Competitive Compensation & BenefitsAbout the Opportunity: A respected healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical operations and lead a dedicated care team in a long-term care or home health setting. This role is ideal for a compassionate, results-driven leader who is passionate about improving patient outcomes and fostering a culture of excellence.Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing and clinical staff within the facility or program.Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.Supervise, train, and mentor nursing staff to promote professional development and high-quality care.Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.Manage staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and workflow to maintain optimal operations.Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement programs, addressing areas of concern proactively.Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.Serve as a role model for patient-centered, compassionate care. Qualifications: Active RN license in Ohio.3+ years of nursing leadership experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or home health environment.Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations, survey processes, and quality assurance programs.Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster a positive team culture.
