Barista/Cashier

The pay rate for this position is $15 / hour. There are two schedules available:- 8:00AM to 4:00PM - Sunday through Thursday- 1:00PM to 9:30PM - Friday through TuesdayParkhurst Dining is a family-owned and operated company that provides culinary, dining and catering services to over 80 organizations and universities. JOB SUMMARYResponsible for serving quality food and beverages to our guests in a friendly and helpful mannerin accordance with Parkhurst standards and procedures under strict sanitary conditions.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS1. Brew Barista coffee along with flavor of the day coffee.2. Make specialty drinks to order, following all Parkhurst recipes.3. Price and stock all grab and go items.4. Adhere to all cash handling procedures.5. Stock coffee bean bins and keep them full at all times.6. Interact with our guests in a friendly, professional manner.7. Merchandise area using Barista signage and other approved materials.8. Follow cleaning schedule as provided by management, using “clean as you go” techniques.9. Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed.10. Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.11. Follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards. Uses Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.12. Assist fellow team members at every opportunity.13.
