It’s a chance to be mentored, challenged, and supported by teammates who want to see you thrive.What You’ll DoYou’ll take on meaningful, skill-building work from day one, including:Designing and drafting structural plans for bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other transportation structures.Turning sketches or verbal concepts into accurate, high-quality drawings.Running structural analyses using industry-standard software.Preparing quantities, cost estimates, and construction-ready deliverables.Participating in design meetings with engineers and clients to align on project goals.Visiting project sites to understand field conditions and support construction coordination.Managing tasks efficiently with guidance from experienced engineers.Reviewing your own work—and supporting CADD Technicians—to ensure quality and accuracy.What You BringBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.EIT certification preferred.Proficiency with standard office software (Word, Excel, etc.).Required CADD experience; familiarity with MicroStation, OpenBridge Designer, or OpenRoads Designer preferred.Experience with 3D structural modeling is a plus.Why HR Green?Because you deserve a workplace where you can grow, collaborate, and feel proud of the work you do.Join one of the nation’s most established engineering firms with over 700 employees across 22 offices.Be part of a culture rooted in mentorship, teamwork, and long-term career development. to find out why our employees chose – and stay with - HR Green. Not only does HR Green provide you with a place to grow, thrive, and enjoy your work, but we are also dedicated to delivering a comprehensive and multi-faceted benefits package. Visit our website for detailed total rewards information. Compensation Range  $75,000.00 - $115,900.00The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Illinois Salary Transparency amendment to the Equal Pay Act of 2003. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, skills, prior work experience, competencies, and geographic work location.
