Assistant Technician Manager

If you think that overnights are for you and you have experience in Veterinary Medicine then connect with us for more informationThe Assistant Technician Manager will play a vital role in our organization, overseeing various responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of our operations.Some of the key duties include:-Providing support for new technician training/onboarding and managing the completion of a 4-week checklist.-Heading up our Student Extern Program: fostering a culture of learning and development.-Posting new Technician ads every Thursday for our growing doctor team.-Creating a mapping route for holiday marketing to enhance our brand presence.-Assisting with training team members on the Ventilator, Fluoroscopy, Scope and other skills, contributing to our team's growth and expertise.-Conducting New Doctor training on SOAPS and Referral Letters to maintain consistent standards.-Setting up New Docusign Accounts to streamline administrative processes.-Coordinating the weekly pet food order, ensuring efficient inventory management.-Actively participating on the floor, providing assistance as needed, and covering for anesthesia/treatments/where needed during busy times and to cover lunch hours (usually 2-4 hours per day).-Conducting quarterly inventory checks to maintain precise stock records.-Collaborating with the medical director to recruit Doctors (email/lists /research)Managing the pDVM phone/email list.-Assisting in training for anesthesia.Prioritizing safety measures to create a secure working environment for everyone.-Maintaining the Borrow/Purchase Log for accountability and resource management.-Helping with managing and participating in marketing events, technician appreciation events/hospital events.This position would include four 10 hour shifts and one weekend day.
