Area Operations ManagerVonachen Group is looking to hire an Area Operations Manager in the greater Peoria, IL area.The Area Operations Manager is responsible for the management of an assigned account, or multiple small accounts, and the supervisors assigned to these accounts. This person must be confident, well-spoken, committed to customer service and able to work with little supervision.Job responsibilities: Direct and oversee the work of the around 30 janitorial employeesPlan, organize, direct, coordinate, functions, and activities of assigned areaEstablish and maintain effective lines of communication with stakeholdersControl expenses within area of responsibilityMaintain records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposesEvaluate and justify supplies, equipment, and purchases as neededDevelop and recommend account operating budgetProvide feedback to management on customer requirements and opportunitiesDemonstrate and promote culture, values, and company philosophyJob requirements:Skills and Abilities Must be 18 years or older and a valid driver’s license and clean MVRMust have reliable transportationGood communication skillsCustomer-oriented and friendlyAbility to manage, analyze and interpret financial data and resultsAbility to work under pressureBasic skill with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related softwareEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GEDExperience providing janitorial services preferredExperience in coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a teamKnowledge of human resource policies and practicesAcquisition of BSCAI- Certified Site Supervisor (CSS) certificationPhysical RequirementsStand and walk for long periods of timeFrequent bending and twistingAble to lift, push & pull 50lbsAble to work flexible hours including evenings and weekendsDetailsFull Time- majority 2nd shift hours, with other hours required as needed$50,000-$55,000 annual salaryBi-weekly mileage stipendCompany laptop and cell phone providedFull benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), STD, LTDPTO/HolidaysMust be able to pass pre-employment requirements as neededNow offering Daily PayVonachen Group is a full-service facility maintenance leader providing janitorial, healthcare, material handling, and logistics support services.
