Perform specialized procedures under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and according to physician orders. Participate in the preparation, implementation, and education of patient care plans. Recognize and address the effects of social and economic challenges on patients, providing emotional and physical comfort. Educate patients on appropriate self-care techniques. Prepare clinical and progress notes (excluding admissions). Assist in patient rehabilitation according to the medical care plan by encouraging patient independence and self-capabilities. Actively participate in nursing organizations and in-service programs. Carry out treatments and procedures as assigned. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing. Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania.
