San Joaquin Country Club is a premier private club with a tradition of excellence that features full club amenities including a pool, practice area, and driving range. The clubhouse offers fine dining, Member’s Grill, and has banquet space capable of hosting banquets, weddings, and other events. We are looking to fill several Dishwasher positions to support the kitchen and service staff and help ensure smooth and efficient operations. Dishwashers will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cookware, while also ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Duties include, but are not limited to:Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware using commercial dishwashing equipment or by hand.Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, pots, pans, and workstations.Dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with club or health regulations.Sweep and mop kitchen floors, and maintain cleanliness of dishwashing and prep areas.Assist with basic food prep or plating tasks as directed.Ensure proper storage and rotation of clean dishes and utensils.Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.Support the kitchen team during busy service periods as needed.Perform opening and closing duties in the dishwashing area.The ideal candidate will possess the following:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Previous experience in a dishwashing or food service role preferred but not required.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.Professional and reliable work ethic.Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot, wet environment.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.Position offers a competitive salary between $17 - $20 per hour with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for club operations.
