The Production Manager position plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Chart’s products. This position will oversee the day to day operations of the department including managing the production processes and staff associated with them. This role will be critical in ensuring that Chart achieves key metrics around on time deliver, quality, safety and efficiencies  What Will You Do? Coordinate with customers to develop project plan and timelines Daily and weekly customer update meetings Manage the Production Scheduling and coordination of activities within the respective group Initiate inter-departmental collaboration to meet production proficiencies and quality objectives Oversee Production Processes and guide personnel on production plans, schedules and key metrics Develop/implement process improvements and cost reduction initiatives Provide leadership to achieve positive moral, production efficiencies, adherence to company policies, production timelines while maintaining high levels of quality and safety Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety guidelines/procedures/standards Collaborate with Engineering on design, new product development, equipment specifications, appropriate documentation and submittal of NCRs Investigate production issues and develop resolutions Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluations, discipline, succession programs and retention Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Your Experience Should Be... 5+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience 8+ years production/manufacturing processes and techniques experience Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills Critical thinking and problem solving skills Experience with JD Edwards (preferred) or other ERP systems  Your Education Should Be… Bachelors Degree or proven previous leadership experience with the Cryogenic Industry Previous Production leadership experience Business Management/Project Management experience  Your Physical Work Environment Will Require… Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawling Frequent pushing, pulling and handling of material Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions Our Benefits Package... Medical, dental and vision insuranceEmployer contributions to an HSA accountHealth Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Company-paid short-term and long-term disability coverageBasic life insurance with the option to purchase supplemental individual, spouse and dependent child coverage401k retirement savings plan including a company match
