As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure efficient restaurant operations, exceptional customer service, and a positive work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding service. Join our team and contribute to the success of our Sonic Drive-In location.Responsibilities:Operational Support:Assist the General Manager in supervising and coordinating daily restaurant operations.Oversee employee scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demands.Monitor workflow and ensure efficient processes are in place.Maintain inventory levels, coordinate supply orders, and oversee stock management.Collaborate with the General Manager to implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.Customer Service:Foster a customer-centric environment by providing excellent service and addressing customer concerns.Assist in training and mentoring employees to deliver exceptional customer experiences.Collaborate with the General Manager to implement strategies for improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.Handle customer complaints or issues in a prompt and professional manner.Staff Supervision and Development:Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees.Provide guidance and support to staff members, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees.Collaborate with the General Manager to implement training programs and career development initiatives.Financial Management:Support the General Manager in monitoring financial performance and controlling costs.Assist in analyzing financial reports and identifying opportunities for improving profitability.Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive sales and revenue.Collaborate with the General Manager in budgeting and expense management.Compliance and Safety:Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.Assist in conducting regular inspections to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards.Train employees on safety procedures and ensure adherence to guidelines.Requirements:Previous experience in a leadership role within the fast-food or restaurant industry.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.Familiarity with financial analysis and budgeting.Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.Job Title: Assistant General ManagerCompany: Sonic Drive InJob Type: Full TimeCompensation range: $40,000 to $45,000Benefits: Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceExperience level:1 yearRestaurant type:Quick service & fast food restaurantShift:10 hour shift8 hour shiftDay shiftEvening shiftMorning shiftNight shiftMinimum 50 Hour Work WeekWeekly day range:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityLicense/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Shift availability:Day Shift (Required)Night Shift (Required)Overnight Shift (Preferred)Work Location: In person
