Flexible schedules (CLOSED on Sundays)Learn first-hand from an experienced team that cares about you personally and an Operator who is actively involved in the communityLeadership opportunities to gain real-world management experience to help you reach your professional goalsCompetitive pay and discountsA great TEAM environmentNo late nights - Store hours are 10AM-7PM Monday-SaturdayRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Demonstrate a passion for the business and managing the overall operationsFind, train, develop and recognize the best peopleManage daily activities to ensure guests receive excellent customer serviceDemonstrate a strong awareness and concern for food quality and safetyAdjust to multiple demands and shifting prioritiesSense of Urgency that creates surprisingly fast Speed of ServiceAttention to detail that ensures preparation and production procedures are followedExecution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environmentMaintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food safetyVigilant attention to the organization and appearance of the kitchenMust be able to communicate effectively in English to guests and team membersOpen availability Monday - Saturday for scheduling between 8AM - 8AM (Typical work week is between 40-45 hours)Behavior Characteristics:Excellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent organization skills and the ability to multitaskAbility to effectively coach and give directionBe able to connect with a multicultural teamAlign hiring, training, daily practices and evaluation practices with the Vision of the organization and the goals for the year Enthusiastically and passionately lead all Team MembersAn outgoing personality who thrives off building relationships with othersAdditional Responsibilities:Inventory management with end-of-period counts and inputEffective & efficient orderingMaintaining a lean production environmentAssistance in brainstorming and execution of marketing and promotional strategiesCoaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all Team MembersTroubleshooting and repairing equipment and facilitiesEnsure all necessary preventative maintenance and cleaning is on a set scheduleEducation and Experience: 1-2 years related experience and/or training in restaurant/hospitality ServeSafe certification preferred but not requiredPhysical Demands: Must be able to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility, including bending and stooping, for the duration of the workday. Must be able to work and perform all duties at any station in the kitchen or service areaChicken Salad Chick provides a delicious menu with a variety of 12 Chicken Salads, homemade sides, delicious soups, and great sandwiches. This location is one of the originals to the franchise and we are looking for a hospitality professional to help us maintain a team of excellence and superb service.
