This person will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly while juggling multiple key initiatives.General Responsibilities:Lead targeted process improvement work and collaborate with teammates on larger initiativesCollect and analyze operational data to generate insights and provide reporting and transparency for leadershipIdentify and implement process improvements driving issue resolution/risk mitigation activitiesDevelop and maintain formal process documentation including procedures and process flowsServe as a subject matter expert partnering with stakeholders to clarify needs and deliver effective solutionsSpecialized Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day interactions with translation and interpretation suppliers, monitoring SLAs and KPIs, overseeing quality evaluations and corrective action plansSupport onboarding of new services, maintenance of vendor process documentation, and monitoring capacity and resource planningIdentify opportunities for quality improvements and optimizationPartner with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certificationAt least 2 years of experience managing translation, localization, and interpretation vendors in a regulated industryAt least 2 years of experience with TMS/CAT tools and translation and interpretation technologiesAt least 2 years of process or project management experiencePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or military experienceLean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification2+ years of relationship management or supplier management experience3+ years of experience managing translation and interpretation vendors in a regulated industry 1+ year of experience in compliance or risk managementStrong negotiation and communication skillsAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.McLean, VA: $102,700 - $117,200 for Principal Process ManagerNew York, NY: $112,000 - $127,800 for Principal Process ManagerRichmond, VA: $93,400 - $106,600 for Principal Process ManagerCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
