Service Project Manager

Job Summary:The Service Project Manager is responsible for overseeing service projects at Willis Custom Yachts (WCY), ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating with the Business Development and Project Management Teams to meet revenue targets and key performance indicators while maintaining excellent customer service. The Service Project Manager will collaborate with WCY trade shops, authorized outside contractors, and the billing department, while also providing regular project status updates to customers.Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain project schedules. Create and implement parts procurement plans. Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans. Lead initial project kick-off meetings with internal teams and customers. Manage customer onboarding and ensure a seamless transition into the service process. Oversee projects to ensure they stay within budget and on schedule. Develop and process change orders as necessary. Conduct weekly project update meetings with the WCY team. Maintain a customer satisfaction rating of at least 85%.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Marine Technology, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the marine, construction, or manufacturing industries. Experience with yacht service and repair projects is a plus.Skills: Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of marine systems and yacht construction preferred. Ability to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:Involves time spent in both an office setting and the boatyard.May involve working in confined spaces, at heights, or in awkward positions.Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.Work is performed in a marine and industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying weather conditions.Benefits:Paid time off and paid holidays.Health, dental, vision, life, and accident insurance.Short- and long-term disability insurance.401(k) with company match.Schedule:Full-time.Day shift, Monday to Friday.Overtime as needed.
