This is a traditional, skill-driven environment where attention to detail and personal workmanship are valued every day.Job Highlights• Pay: $17–$19 per hour, depending on experience• Schedule: Full-time | Day shift• Location: Houston, TX 77087• Nearby Cities: Baytown, Pasadena, Channelview, Deer Park, La Porte, Galena Park, Cloverleaf, Jacinto City, Sheldon, Highlands, Crosby, Northshore, Mont Belvieu, South Houston• Benefits: Health insurance, paid time off, tool purchase program, clean and safe facility• Equipment: Fully manual OD/ID grinders (no CNC)Responsibilities• Operate manual OD and ID grinders to meet precise tolerances• Read and use OD/ID micrometers accurately• Dial in machines with indicators within a few thousandths• Grind and handle parts up to 10–12 feet in length• Follow customer specifications for precision grinding• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaRequirements• Ability to read English for travelers and part drawings• Minimum 1 year of experience on manual grinders (no CNC)• Skilled in using OD/ID micrometers and precision indicators• Ability to operate jib or overhead cranes• High school diploma or GED required for trainee-level candidates• Trainees must complete 4 weeks of in-house training before working independently• Trainees may purchase required hand tools through payroll deductionsCall to ActionIf you're ready to put your craftsmanship to work on classic, well-built machines, apply today.
