Other duties include:Ensures the accurate reporting, categorization, and investigation of production losses, driving systemic improvements and compliance with DNL’s Reliability Standard.Live and foster Dyno Nobel ValuesEnsure compliance with applicable HSE Performance StandardsLead regular reviews of production losses and cost-impact events.Participate in investigation of loss events exceeding the investigation threshold using approved methodologies.Monitor asset performance metrics including OEE, Uptime, Reliability, and Mean Uptime.Oversee the use and maintenance of the Production Reporting and Loss System (PRLS).Identify Direct Causes and Systemic Root Causes for Reliability Events.Facilitate quarterly reviews to identify ‘Bad Actor’ equipment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement systemic improvementsInvestigation of loss eventsMonitor asset performance metrics including OEE, Uptime, Reliability, and Mean Uptime.Oversee the use and maintenance of the Production Reporting and Loss System (PRLS).What We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)3+ years of experience in reliability, maintenance, or operations management in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Prefer experience in explosives or heavy chemical manufacturingProficient in data systems such as PRLS and ERP platformsCertified Reliability Engineer (CRE) or equivalent preferred. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilitiesKnowledge of RCA methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, Fault Tree Analysis).Understanding of discrete manufacturing processes.Familiarity with heavy chemical manufacturingPositive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team playerWhat We Offer:3 weeks vacation + 12 paid holidays + PTO daysFull health benefits including employer HSA contributions + dental plan with an orthodontic option, wellness coaching availableMatching 401(k)Generous paid parental leaveGenerous tuition reimbursement programFriendly and supportive coworkersZero Harm for Everyone EverywhereValue People – Respect, Recognize & RewardThink Customer.
