About the Role As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to patients. Your responsibilities will include: Interpreting and entering prescription information in compliance with state regulationsUsing various computer systems to process prescriptions, compare orders, and generate labels.Packaging and delivering medications following standard procedures to ensure safe and secure deliveryConducting quality assurance checks, reaching out to prescribers and patients when needed, and resolving third-party rejectionsPreparing manual prescription orders by verifying information, pulling the required medications from inventory, and completing necessary scanning and packaging Requirements You have a High School Diploma / GED and you have 1+ years of prior experience in counting/packing medications and prior authorizationsYou are a certified pharmacy technician within the state of employmentYou are familiar with general pharmacy terminology (SIG codes, brand, and generic names of medications)You are proficient with a computer and Windows PC applications and are able to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applicationsYou are available to work within operating hours: Philadelphia Pharmacy Hours: Monday - Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday - Sunday: Closed What We Offer Competitive compensation, commensurate with qualifications and experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage The opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in healthcare and technologyThe opportunity to execute on a high-impact mission, to build a pharmacy that works for everyone, within a $425 billion pharmacy industry touching 70% of Americans once a month Capsule is committed to hiring the best team possible to build a pharmacy that works for everyone.
