This person is responsible for an array of IT functions in support of the radiology PACS with emphasis on web technology.

He/she will be shall be responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of the diagnostic, quality control, and clinical workstations included inthe PACS.

The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background, a solid understanding of applicable analytics, and a natural curiosity for producing effective solutions.

This person is patient, has excellent time-management skills, and practices of effective communication style.

Responsibilities:  Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with PACS software, hardware, and network connectivity, including DICOM and HL7 communication.  System Administration: Manage user accounts, system security, backups, and perform system upgrades and installations.  Technical Support: Provide Level 1 and 2 support to end-users, responding to inquiries and escalating complex issues.  Image Workflow: Ensure smooth image workflow, archiving, and retrieval, including DICOM image capture, network transmission, and RIS validation.  Knowledge of Standards: Possess a strong understanding of DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) and HL7 (Health Level 7) standards.  Communication: Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff, including radiologists, IT personnel, and vendors.  Project Support: Assist with technology planning and implementation for related projects.  Continuous Improvement: Analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for enhanced stability and efficiency.  Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries concerning system software and applications.  Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred Two years of experience is required Knowledge of all engineering tools and applications and programming languages Benefits: Two Week Vacation Paid Medical/Dental/Vision 401k Paid Federal Holidays Sick Leave If interested please send resume to jmccall@asp-web-solutions.com Powered by JazzHR
