Description:Nemours Children’s Health Delaware Valley Department of Surgery is seeking a board-certified/board eligible Pediatric General Surgeon with experience in fetal surgery to serve as Director of Perinatal Surgery and Chief of its Division of Pediatric General Surgery in Wilmington, DE. The successful candidate will be a proven leader and have board certification in Pediatric Surgery and will be responsible for supporting our Advanced Delivery Unit and Fetal Care Center Programs, Level One Pediatric Trauma Center, Level 4 NICU, and ELSO Platinum Level ECMO Program.Our Pediatric General Surgery Division includes 9 pediatric surgeons, 5 advanced practice providers, 2 specialty nurses, and 4 fellows (1 clinical and 3 research). The clinical practice for this role will encompass all aspects of pediatric general surgery as well as specialized expertise in fetal surgery. This leadership position is an opportunity to build upon a strong foundation, drive innovation, expand clinical services, and mentor the next generation of pediatric surgical leaders.
