As an AI/ML Engineer Senior at GDIT, you’ll power innovation to drive mission impact and grow your expertise to power your career forward with an opportunity in Falls Church, VA.Advana is the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office’s (CDAO) enterprise-wide, multi-domain data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) platform that provides all DoD military and civilian decision makers, analysts, and builders with unprecedented access to enterprise data, tools, and capabilities.The Chief Data/AI Engineer shall work in conjunction with the Chief Engineer and be responsible for leading the DevSecOps of data analytic, AI/ML models, RPA applications and decision support applications, including template or sample applications for each, using the Advana multi-cloud and multi-enclave Platform.Required Qualifications: Minimum of five years of experience with full lifecycle and secure and automated development of at least one of the following: data management, data analytics or Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML).Active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.Desired Qualifications:Experience with data visualization packages in Python or similar programming languages.Experience with supervised and unsupervised deep learning algorithms like Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) and advanced deep learning packages such as TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch, Caffe, and Theano.Experience with one of the large cloud-computing infrastructure solutions similar to AWS, MS Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.Experience utilizing Agile development methodologies and Application Lifecycle Management.Experience working with programming languages such as Java, C++, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, Pig/Hive, and/or Elixir.Master’s Degree in a related technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science) with specialization in one or more of the following (e.g., Data Science, AI, or Robotic Process Automation).GDIT IS YOUR PLACEAt GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.Growth: AI-powered career tool that identifies career steps and learning opportunitiesSupport: An internal mobility team focused on helping you achieve your career goalsRewards: Comprehensive benefits and wellness packages, K with company match, and competitive pay and paid time offFlexibility: Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at homeCommunity: Award-winning culture of innovation and a military-friendly workplaceOWN YOUR OPPORTUNITYExplore a career in data science and engineering at GDIT and you’ll find endless opportunities to grow alongside colleagues who share your determination for solving complex data challenges.
