The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in East Lansing that are seeking skilled Quality Supervisors. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals. Key Responsibilities Supervise and train quality inspection personnel and technicians. Monitor and enforce adherence to product quality standards and manufacturing specifications. Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances, defects, and customer complaints. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Manage and maintain quality control documentation, records, and procedures. Perform regular internal audits of processes and products to ensure compliance. Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of quality assurance/control experience in manufacturing, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity. In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis). Proven leadership and team development skills, capable of training and mentoring quality personnel. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for identifying and resolving manufacturing quality issues. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and using various measurement and inspection equipment.
