In addition to these responsibilities, you can expect to perform duties such as expense reporting, and coordination of meetings. Additionally, the Talent Specialist deals with a diverse group of internal contacts at all levels of the organization and will demonstrate excellent project management. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload, and recommend organizational changes in office practices or procedures. In this role, you will have high attention to detail, be expected to assemble highly confidential and sensitive information, and be detail-oriented. The Talent Specialist will work under the direct supervision of the Senior Director of People. ResponsibilitiesTalent Development:Assist in creating communications materials for organizational talent development initiativesAssist with managing all tasks and processes related to Growth Path ProgramAct as central point of contact for all staff inquiries related to professional developmentDocument, file and save accurate and detailed information related to employees developmentAssisting managers with retention of current team membersAiding with Competency Project to help promote retention and growthTalent Acquisition and Recruitment:Perform full-cycle recruiting for new positions in departments cross-companyUse technical knowledge and vocabulary to have meaningful conversations with potential job candidatesMaintain applicant tracking systemCommunicate hiring updates and processes effectively with VP of HR, Hiring Manager, and Department ManagerCollaborate with different teams/departments on tasks related to hiringSource for and engage with potential qualified candidates via LinkedIn for open roles at DreamHost. Employee/Company-Wide Training:Assist with managing monthly Manager Training processes and proceduresDistribute and implement company-wide training; manage logistics of training workshops and programsTrack training status progress and obtain reportsPerformance Management:Enhance performance management via data-driven analyticsAct as central point of contact for all employee inquiries related to performance management coordinationAid in the implementation of People Team internal systemsPurchasing & Invoicing:Review, verify and process hours worked monthly invoices for all contractors as well as any other contractor related invoices Purchase equipment for all Philippines team members and work closely with outside vendors to secure equipment and invoices for processingImplement and perform various HR tasks and projects as assignedWork independently and within a team on special non-recurring and ongoing projectsAttend to employee questions, concerns and needs in a professional mannerEstablish, develop, maintain and update filing systems. Retrieve information from files when neededEnsure the utmost level of confidentialityConducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verificationMaintain internal Job Titles document and ensure accuracy in HRISType and design general correspondences and memosProofread copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changesResponsible for participating in the accuracy and clarity of final copyDocument corporate credit card expenses to corporate financePrioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentAttend to problem escalation and cultural sensitive discussionsAssociate’s degree1-2 years’ of experience in Talent Development and/or related area of Human ResourcesAbility to demonstrate time management skillsAbility to organize and prioritize large volumes of informationStrong project management, operational and process skillsComfortable embracing existing technologies used in the Talent Development function; being willing to learn new technologies when necessaryExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong collaboration skillsAbility to handle multiple priorities while delivering high results; strong execution and organization skillsWorking knowledge/experience with/of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite applications such as, Google Docs, Sheets, and Forms Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and bend or stand as necessary.
