The trainer also provides technical support to field, office personnel, and frontline managers.RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIESWrites training programs, including outlines, text, handouts, and tests.Offer specific technical training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills.Lectures class on safety, installation, programming, maintenance, machinery, and equipment, following outline, handouts, and texts.Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.Administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance.Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.Conducts course feedback evaluation to determine measurements of training success or areas of improvement.Maintains quality training by establishing and enforcing organization standards of practice and protocol.Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities or program effectiveness and file documentation.Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.Evaluate training materials used for instruction, such as outlines, texts, or handouts.Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as in-person or virtual to optimize training effectiveness, training costs, or environmental impacts.Keep current with developments in area of expertise by reading current publications, books, articles, etc.Attend meeting or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to inform management of training program status.
